Most people out there have heard the saying, ‘You are what you eat.’ It means that if you eat healthy, you will likely be healthy. In other words, your body will be as healthy as the food you put into it.
The same exact concept is absolutely true for what you put into your mind and how you use it. The mind is such an amazing and complex thing; I find it fascinating. I also find it (mine in particular) incredibly frustrating at times. Unfortunately, unless I’m mistaken, there is no owner’s manual for your mind out there. I have found through therapy, research and wisdom from older friends, however, that there are mind hacks that you can use to nudge your mind in the right direction when it gets off track (and there will always be moments that it gets off track.) This involves mindfully reshaping the way you think.
